Drafting & Planning
We work with you to create floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings in order to plan, permit, and construct your new structure, addition, or renovation project. During the project scope development and drafting, we verify zoning and related ordinance compliance, coordination with surveying and engineering professionals if needed, and cost and schedule estimates.
Construction
We offer limited construction services as a method of providing a more affordable alternative to full service custom building. Our construction services include permits, project management, tree removal, demolition, excavation, utility connections, foundation, framing, roofing, siding, mechanical/ HVAC, plumbing, electrical, insulation, drywall, and painting. The exterior of our projects are complete less landscaping. The interiors will be ready for you or your preferred finishing contractor(s) to complete. We do offer references.
We recognize the increase in construction costs. We all make choices as to how we accomplish the tasks around our homes like cooking, cleaning, maintenance and construction tasks. Do-it-yourself, or hire someone else? This is a value proposition based on time, abilities, financial and many other factors. GCS is here for those that seek to work with a builder that will allow them to do the interior and other finishing of their new construction, addition, and renovation projects.
We offer this limited “White Box” construction model for those who are willing to complete the project themselves DIY style or hire other contractors to complete it. Our business will not be a good fit for those looking for one builder to lead them from beginning to the final details. However, for those willing to add some sweat equity and want to save money by completing their own interior work and landscaping, we are here for you!
